This course is designed to walk you through the essentials of visualizing and exploring data in R using the tidyverse package. After some R basics including an introduction to the language and the RStudio platform, you’ll get into the basics of loading external data, transforming your data, creating tidy datasets, and exploring and visualizing data with ggplot2. You’ll learn how to create a variety of visualizations including bar charts, line charts, histograms, density plots, violin plots, box plots, scatterplots, regression lines, and much more! You’ll also learn how to create maps and visualize spatial data with R.
In this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the Python programming language, along with programming best practices. You’ll learn to represent and store data using Python data types and variables, and use decision support structures and loops to control the flow of your programs. You’ll learn the power of complex data structures like lists, dictionaries, and tuples to store collections of related data. You’ll define and document your own custom functions, write scripts, and handle errors. Lastly, you’ll learn how to perform file handling.
In this 2 day course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the Python programming language, along with programming best practices. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of using the numpy, and pandas libraries for basic data science tasks.
